Museum: CAS 62711, 62420. Reported from Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 125586). Also reported near coral areas in Shelter Island, and in a rocky reef at Kat O. Only a small, single individual was recorded at each site (Ref. 128523). The species was only observed on 1 occasion during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494).
